HiPP stage 2 formula is suitable for use from 6 to 12 months of age as a substitute for or complement to breast milk.
This formula is intended to be used as part of a mixed diet of bottle feeds and weaning. HiPP HA is formulated to meet the nutritional needs of babies at risk of suffering from milk protein allergies.
HiPP HA contains extensively hydrolyzed milk whey proteins that are easy to digest and less likely to produce allergic reactions.
HiPP also uses probiotic lactic acid cultures cultivated from real breast milk to create a natural formula that aids your baby’s digestion.
Stage 2 is lactose-based and contains no complementary carbohydrates, which makes it gentle on tiny tummies and may help to alleviate issues like colic, constipation, bloating, and gas.
Stage 2 is also enriched with a higher quantity of micro and macronutrients and is age-appropriately filling to meet older babies’ increased energetic needs.
Some of these important nutrients include DHA, ALA, and iron to support brain development and vitamins C and D for improved calcium absorption, immunity, and bone strength.

1. Boil fresh drinking water and cool to approx. 40°-50° C* / 104-122° F*.
2. Add desired amount of boiled water (see Table) to the bottle.
3. Measure recommended amount of milk powder (see Table). Level the formula powder on the measuring spoon and add the formula powder to the water.
4. Close the bottle and shake thoroughly.
5. Cool to drinking temperature of approx. 37° C / 98.6° F. Check temperature, e.g. with HiPP's thermometer.
In order not to damage the natural lactic acid culture (lactobacilli), please do not prepare the food with too hot water. The powder is subject to natural color fluctuations due to the contained Minerals.
Follow the instructions as shown in the feeding chart below for precise use when preparing infant formula. Improper preparation or storage of the prepared bottle over a longer period of time can lead to health problems, e.g. due to the growth of unwanted germs. Prepare formula before every feeding and feed immediately. Do not reuse the remains of the prepared formula's. Clean bottle, teat and ring thoroughly. Close the opened bag tightly after use. Store dry and at room temperature and use within 3 weeks after opening. Do not heat food in the microwave (risk of scalding).
